Swiss-Korean Innovation Week 2021

Swiss Science & Technology Office in Seoul is part of Swissnex and will host the Swiss-Korean Innovation Week 2021 with a focus on Green Transition. Today, more than ever, it is important to transition our economy to more sustainable patterns of production, consumption, and transportation. We can no longer ignore the impact that the private sector can has on the environment and on society. Attendees will be able to hear about practical solutions that are relevant, and sometimes unique, to the innovation networks and collaborations between Switzerland and Korea. The events will take place from  June 1 to June 4, with some being open to the general public.

World IT Show 2021

World IT Show 2021

The World IT Show 2021, which is the largest ICT festival in Korea, is going to be held from April 21 to April 23, 10 am-5 pm at COEX. The Korea Ministry of Science and ICT is the host of this event, and the slogan of this show is "The New Normal, make IT yours!!". There will be various tech companies setting up the booth at the show, particularly showing their services and technologies related to Un-tact, AI&IoT, and ICT convergence service.

Melixir: Quality personal products using plant-based ingredients

Hana Lee founded Melixir in 2017 to develop healthy, sustainable skincare products that are plant-based without any toxic chemicals. The company had successfully launched in South Korea, and by 2019 was available in the United States as well through the company's own website and through the Urban Outfitters online store. Hana and her team were planning to expand their activities in the United States, and they identified the Bay Area as their first foothold with US consumers. Hana had participated in YCombinator in her past role at Memebox and so was already familiar with customers in that region. How would they strategize their event to drive brand awareness?
