When we launched a little over a year ago, we had targeted the higher education market with workshops and content for early-stage entrepreneurs. At this time, our domain was set to www.lighthouse.ac to reflect the educational nature of our products and higher education targeting.
Professionals today want the ability to work remotely, and doing so is better for business because happier employees are more productive.
But it is not always easy to organize a remote workforce. The skills needed to be productive at a distance are different from what you need for conventional face-to-face work, and many companies resist rolling out new systems because it takes effort to coordinate tech, IT, and finance, while also getting your team to change their work habits.
In March 2019, Ramon Sanchez and Aleyda Villavicencio visited Seoul to give a workshop on entrepreneurship and impact for Lighthouse's Adventures 2019. Ramon and Aleyda work at the Harvard School of Public Health, and there, they assess the impact of publicly-traded companies and create strategies for sustainable investment portfolios.
